Tap into the amazing power you already have and you'll grow strong and lean...

Dear Reader,

My name is Brenda and I’ve been fat my whole life.

After a lifetime of struggling with various diets and weight loss strategies, at the age of 42 and weighing about 300 pounds, I’d given up on trying to lose weight.

I feared I would die that way—overweight and out of control of my body. I didn’t believe that I could possibly motivate myself enough to change my life. I thought I needed willpower or some kind of raw determination that I just didn't feel inside. After all, I was 42 years old.  I’d gotten used to it.  It wasn’t really all that bad anyway.

When I dipped my toe into the exercise waters, it wasn’t because I thought I would ever achieve a reasonable weight.  I knew successful dieting was not in my future.  Plus, I hated exercise. The most I was hoping for was to stop gaining weight every year. I was getting bigger than the biggest clothes in the fatty section of the department store.

Thank goodness, I was dead wrong.

Not only did I lose more fat than my entire body weighs today, but I radically changed the shape of my body, improved my health, fitness, strength and outlook on life—all at the same time.  I learned that strength training is a powerful tool for change. I grew stronger inside and out.  And I honestly enjoyed it!

If you can follow the simple recommendations I will give you, you can supercharge your own personal power. Transform your body to be more of what you like, and less of what you don’t. You can do it at a gym or from the comfort or your own home with low cost equipment (that's how I started). I've written a book to explain exactly how to do it. It's called Find Your Edge: Big Fat Strength Training Secrets. Click here now to order a copy.

Thinking Differently

Maybe you have to hit rock bottom and feel hopeless to see things clearly. You see, when I let go of all the expectations and self-imposed pressure, I dispensed with the junk that sets us up for failure.

Negative thinking (“I can’t..., I’ll never be able to...”), unrealistic goals (“I’m going to workout everyday next week” or “I’m going to  lose 30 lbs by my sister’s wedding”), and restrictive approaches (“I’ll start my diet on Monday”) don’t work. This kind of thinking gets you nowhere in the long run.

I think it's important to enjoy your life; every single moment. We never know what's around the corner. Instead, why not just play the game.

As adults we forget what it's like to just play. To do something just for the fun of seeing what happens. I say pick a strategy, any strategy, then get really good at.  Have fun, relax, and enjoy watching your progress. Your only competition is yourself.  Your key to success is to "find your edge," that tipping point between who you are and who you could be. There are no deep mystical secrets or special talents required. Anybody can do it if they want to.

When you give it your best and are consistently true to working your strategy--whatever that is, the excess fat seems to just melt away. Soon it becomes part of who you are.  That’s real change.  Just like brushing your teeth (but much more entertaining :)

Meanwhile, you'll be growing stronger, leaner, and more excited about life. Yes, it will improve your health and prolong your youthful vitality, but it will also make the life you live right now much easier and more pleasurable.

A little known method with a powerful punch

The exercise method I will show you in Find Your Edge is a smart place to start.  I call it the Fast Fx Workout. Based on the pioneering breakthrough of Romanian strength coach Istvan “Steve” Javorek nearly 40 years ago, this little-known method of strength training was first used by Olympic athletes.

Today it’s a secret of strength and conditioning coaches throughout the country for building balanced, integrated strength and turning on hormonal responses in world class athletes. Fast Fx uses the same principles, but instead of risky and complex Olympic lifts we use exercises you can safely and easily learn. Fast Fx is designed for recreational lifters who want to build muscle, burn fat and improve fitness at the same time.

We’ll put the exercises together in a very specific way to turn on the body’s natural fat-fighting muscle-building hormones. The workout is carefully crafted to be safe while exploiting the incredible potential of your body. You will immediately feel the stunning effects of this workout. Anybody can do it and you don't need a "spotter." You'll be in complete control.

This method is ideal for those new to strength training because the weights are lighter than the most you could lift. You can safely learn basic strength exercises and even while you are learning you will still see motivating results.

If you have strength training experience but progress is stalled, you’ll love this! You'll be shocked by how effective this simple strategy is. This method will quickly take your workout to another level.

This is the most direct way I’ve ever seen to naturally turn on powerful hormones that burn fat and reshape your body 24 hours a day.

Isn’t weightlifting too hard to learn on your own?

When I started, I was totally clueless.  I had no athletic experience of any kind and had barely even heard of weightlifting. I just conducted a little experiment. I took a 3-lb, 5-lb, and 8-lb dumbbells and an exercise book into my bedroom and closed the door. Of course, I did it all wrong.  (But it didn't matter, because while I was learning, the fat just disappeared.)  I could do it just enough to find a little mustard seed that could grow.

I started reading everything I could. Sure, there were books, magazines and internet articles, but very few tested, proven, documented “secrets.” I’m talking about the kind of inside information you learn when you talk to someone in the trenches.

Little by little, my understanding took shape, but it took a lot of time and effort. It would have been nice to have a better roadmap back then. Something that pulls all the information together and makes sense of confusing jargon and conflicting concepts.  And carefully researched, too— in the exercise world bad information gets passed around as gospel. Other people start repeating it and soon everybody thinks it's true.

Eventually, I became certified as a personal trainer, but personal training is expensive. You can do this without spending a lot of money, and you might even make more progress on your own! All you really need is a good roadmap and a willingness to try.

Find Your Edge is a better roadmap.  To get yours, click here now.

Where Are The Real Secrets?

The real "secrets" are the discoveries you make about yourself as you grow. They are waiting for you to uncover them, they are very personal, and no one else can tell them to you. The real "secret" is to learn what challenges and motivates you.

On the other hand, blending your experience with practical insights from others can make all the difference. Taking advantage of what others have learned can save you a lot of time and trouble. Seeing progress quickly is very motivating!
